Downtown Strawberry comprises all of the central northern section of the island, and extends southward down Main Street to Strawberry Circle. The Circle is the main hub of the island. It is full of newstands, bars, restaurants, shops and street vendors. It's also a popular place for public speeches, community gathering, organizing and networking. At the center of Strawberry Circle is Town Hall, where Strawberry's local government conducts business.

Strawberry

Downtown Strawberry has more bars and restaurants than any other neighborhood on the island. One extremely popular establishment is Falstaff's Tavern. Falstaff's is the island's only literary bar, so it attracts regulars from all over, especially Parnassus, Eastport and Lower Bohemia. Strawberry Circle is the main drag not only of downtown, but of all Strawberry, and sits squarely in the center of the two main thoroughfares: Main Street, which runs north to south, and Hillside Avenue, which runs east to west.

Outlying Strawberry Circle, as well as snaking through it, are the Alleys, a labyrinthine connection of streets that can get a traveler from one section of the Circle to another quickly if they know their way around. Some residents of the island prefer to use the Alleys as a way to get lost for a couple hours.
